If you are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with autism, Joyful ABA is hiring for Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team in our Homewood Clinic! Our trained behavior technicians (BTs) provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals diagnosed with autism under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA.
With this position, you'll be working in-home with families, implementing ABA programs, training BTs on implementation of said programs, and establishing parent training opportunities in order to promote generalization of programming, maintenance, and carryover of acquisition skills.
As part of Joyful ABA, LLC, it is the responsibility of the BCBA to conduct various descriptive and systematic Behavioral assessments (e.
g.
, functional analyses) and skill-based assessments (e.
g.
, ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.
).
The BCBA provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results and designs comprehensive ABA treatment plans of evidence-based practices and behavior analytic research literature.
The BCBA provides training and supervision to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and other responsible parties tasked with the implementation of behavior analytic interventions.
The BCBA then supervises and monitors treatment progress of a client through data-based progress monitoring.
The BCBA also provides training to parents/guardians and other responsible parties for the client.
Skills and Abilities Assess situation and make proper judgments Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner Objectively analyze crisis situations Respond quickly to emergency situations Handle aggressive and self-injurious behaviors of clients Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff and outside professionals, group or individual.
Perform general clerical duties including maintaining accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients.

Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and write progress reports Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans Supervise and train ABA/ Behavioral Technicians Oversee ABA home programs and provide parent training and support Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book (including writing programs and creating materials) Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior intervention plans for children Running monthly clinic/progress meetings with parents/guardians Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors through the principles of ABA Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analysis of all problem behaviors when needed and clinically warranted Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and graph/monitor progress Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs or software.
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise Communicate client Progress and cases to RBT, Behavior Support Professionals, Parents, and caregivers.
Be able to work with a diverse team of professionals to provide the best behavioral services possible to clients.
Attend staff trainings agency meetings voluntarily Supervisor over :

Requirements:
Have obtained certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Master's Degree in ABA or related field (Psychology, Education, Special Education) Obtain and maintain Safety Care Specialist status Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Previous ABA Experience Must be comfortable working with families and providing in-home services Job Types:
