Position Overview:
NuCare Inc.
is seeking a compassionate and efficient Clinical Scheduler to join our team.
The Clinical Scheduler will play a vital role in coordinating and managing medical appointments and services for individuals residing in our Community Integrated Living Arrangements.
Responsibilities:
Schedule medical appointments, including doctor visits, therapy sessions, and medical tests, for individuals in CILAs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appointments, labs, and client preferences.
Properly file individuals records in their respective charts.
Communicate with healthcare providers, clients, and their families to confirm and reschedule appointments as needed.
Work closely with care teams to ensure clients' medical and healthcare needs are met.
Provide exceptional customer service and respond to appointment-related inquiries with empathy and efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that necessary documentation is prepared and available for each appointment.
Address scheduling conflicts and adapt to changing needs, while prioritizing client well-being.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
Proven experience in appointment scheduling or a related role.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compassionate and patient approach to addressing client needs and inquiries.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage scheduling conflicts.
Empathy and a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
