Join us in coloring a safe and sustainable future!Job DescriptionINX is looking for Electrical Controls engineer that would be based out of the Homewood, IL site location.
This role supports INX's development and deployment strategy for Controls & Electrical by providing engineering and technical expertise in electrical and automation systems across multiple site locations.
The E&C Engineer is responsible for alignment with design aspects on projects and coordination with the Corporate Engineering Projects Manager on execution elements.
It requires the ability to support multiple sites and cover all aspects of electrical, instrumentation, and automation control for batching, continuous processing, and troubleshooting.
As an E&C Engineer you will be responsible for:
Alignment with design aspects on projectsCoordination with the Corporate Engineering Projects Manager on execution elementsSupport multiple sites and cover all aspects of electrical, instrumentation, and automation control for batchingContinuous processingTroubleshooting QualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, TechnologyHave at least 5
years of hands-on electrical engineering design experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verballyEngineering and Technology:
Proficient knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
This includes applying principles, techniques and procedures to the design and production of products.
Travel up to 25% travel as needed for startups, installations or to resolve field issues; this may include equipment integration with equipment and supervising installation electricians.
Possess Project Management skills to incorporate design and budgets for projects.
