Medical Claims/Insurance Customer Care Agents
Seeking 2 Temporary to Hire Full-Time Medical Claims/Insurance Customer Care Agents to Work in Homewood, IL For $15/hr
Our client, a Third Party Administrator (TPA) has immediate staffing needs for two experienced Medical Claims Insurance Customer Care Agents. You must have a minimum of 3
years of recent and related work experience preferably working for a TPA or large insurance carrier. Knowledge of RIMS/QicLink Processing is preferred. Experience in an inbound call center is also required.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Answering calls in a call center from physician/providers, employers, Health Plans and members regarding claims status and eligibility questions. Provide telephonic support for customers calling with general questions regarding the following:
eligibility, benefits, referral process, physicians/providers, primary care physician, and claim status.
Strong computer and data entry skills are essential as is good knowledge of MW Word, Outlook and Excel. You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. You must also have excellent customer service and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required. This will be a temporary to hire full-time job opportunity. The training hours are Monday-Friday from (8:
30am-4:
30pm) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch for a total of 37.5 hours a week. However, once the training is completed the hours may occasionally vary since the call center is open Monday-Friday from (7:
00am-7:
00pm) you may occasionally be requested to work either (7:
00am-3:
00pm) or (11:
00am-7:
00pm). Even though your regular hours will most likely be Monday-Friday (8:
30am-4:
30pm) you must be willing to cover other shifts when necessary. The pay rate for this position is $15/hr.
